Market Conduct

As part of BDCB’s continuous effort to strengthen financial customer protection, BDCB implements necessary initiatives to strengthen and enhance market conduct of the financial institutions and to protect the financial consumer interests.

In fulfilling its mandate, BDCB, amongst others:

Provides an avenue for complaints against licensed financial institutions.
Promotes better understanding of the products and services offered by banks and financial institutions among customers by requiring FIs to ensure disclosure and transparency of information and
Ensure fair treatment of financial customers by financial institutions.
