Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) wishes to inform the public that the approval granted to BEEP Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd (BEEP) to operate as a payment system operator has been withdrawn with effect from 30 September 2026.

The withdrawal follows BDCB’s supervisory assessment of BEEP’s compliance with regulatory requirements and the subsequent orderly wind-down of its payment services operations.

Following the withdrawal, BEEP is no longer authorised to undertake activities as an approved payment system operator in Brunei Darussalam.

BDCB remains committed to safeguarding the integrity and stability of Brunei Darussalam’s payment systems and ensuring that payment system operators operate in accordance with the applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
