BDCB Holds Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu‘izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘Adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam

Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) today held a Sunat Hajat prayer, the recitation of Surah Yasin, and a Special Doa for the health and well-being of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu‘izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa‘adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony also held a Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with BDCB’s 15th anniversary.
The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf Bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, as the Chairman of BDCB’s Board of Directors, Yang Mulia Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal), as the Deputy Chairman of BDCB’s Board of Directors, along with other members of BDCB’s Board of Directors, BDCB’s Managing Director, BDCB’s Executive Management, as well as officers and staff.
The ceremony commenced with the Sunat Hajat prayer and recitation of Surah Yasin, followed by the Special Doa and Doa Kesyukuran led by Yang Mulia Adee Aiman bin Haji Muhidin, Mosque Affairs Officer from Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampong Bebatik Kilanas. The event concluded with Asar prayer.
The occasion reflected collective devotion and care for His Majesty, with prayers seeking Allah SWT’s continued blessings for His Majesty’s health and protection, and for the peace and prosperity of Brunei Darussalam, while also serving as a moment of thanksgiving for BDCB’s journey throughout its establishment.
